Cure2Children: what is it about?
Cure2Children (C2C) is a non-profit, non political and secular organization providing support to developing countries' health professionals caring for children with cancer and blood disorders. The aim is to give a significant and measurable contribution, even if modest, to the cure and well-being of children with severe disorders such as cancer, leukemia or thalassemia, in poor countries.
Cure2Children wants to improve care directly where underprivileged families live by training and supporting local doctors and nurses, purchasing supplies and providing equipment. In addition, financial, psychological and logistic support is offered to needy families to prevent treatment abandonment. The ultimate goal is to promote self-reliance and limit the painful emigration of distressed families seeking cure for their children in richer countries.

Our history
C2C was born through the will of an Oncologist, Dr. Lawrence Faulkner, who has an extraordinary passion and dedication for really sick children. His experience in this delicate field of paediatric haematology-oncology drove him to promote a project with the finality of bringing a cure to children affected by this sickness. He believed it was critical to extend to developing countries the protocols, medicine, and experience of a scientific committee with international credibility.
C2C was also born through motivated parents who lived the every day pain of the loss of a child to cancer. This pain cannot be quantified and no words can describe it. The only certainty to come out of this experience was the desire to ensure equal opportunities for any child.
